Anyone else happy it's Friday? I know I am! Here's 2 of the many advantages of Friday:
- It's the last day of the school week.
- It means I now have 4 days to read 5 chapters of The Invisible Man, an incredibly dull book. Sorry, Mr. Wells, your book is really well written, but honestly, it's not a book that will last a while longer. The book was written in the 1890's. It is now 2010. People's vocabularies just aren't so great anymore. Although, kudos to thinking of such a great concept for a book in the 1890's: invisibility. Better than vampires....but that's another topic for another day.
I am currently listening to a song by The Script. They're an Irish band that I LOVE. And I just now realized that they're coming to an area near me within the next week or so. Darn. I wanted to see them. But the best Irish band of all time is U2, hands down. Anyone who disagrees can leave a comment, and I could probably come up with about 22 Grammy's worth of rebuttals that will prove you wrong. That just sounded journalistically (real word?) unethical, but mwaha ha, I'm not officially a "journalist" yet....so close yet so far :(
Oh yeah, I should probably clarify something. This blog is titled "The Bowler's Blog" and honestly, I was surprised when the URL wasn't already taken for someone who actually wants to blog about bowling. I love to bowl, but I don't blog about bowling. I am a bowler with a blog, so I figured I'd take the alliterative route and use that for a title. So for anyone who will read this who actually cares about bowling (I've come to find that a lot of people I've dealt with don't think bowling is a sport, even though the school's bowling teams are...well, I don't want to get in trouble, so I'll say that bowling is really good) sorry about the long obnoxious side note-anyone who cares about bowling can read a blog that has to do with bowling. So, every now and then I'll throw in something about bowling.
Ok, I've done enough controversial thinking for one night, so I'll just say Adieu
Adieu,
Over and out,
bowler :)
