FINALLY, FALL BREAK HAS ARRIVED!!
I am sooo happy! No more school for 4 more days!
YESSSS!!
I love fall break!
I mean, I'm going to a party tonight, I get to SLEEP tomorrow, then bowling...then another party...maybe? Then Friday I can do NOTHING!!!
Then Saturday I have more bowling and Sunday, for once, is tournament-less.
Man, I need to sell some tickets for bowling...
OH MY GOSH! I'm stupid! Let's use the blog for free advertising!
If anyone wants to support the bowling team and has $5 to waste, I can help you! Bring me the money, I give you ticket, you give ticket back to me, I bring ticket to my coach, she brings it to the guy in charge, they pull ticket, you win $2100!!!!!!!!!! (well, maybe)
Wouldn't that be swell?
It would.
Well...time to get into my costume for this party.....Ace Hardware worker...
JUST BECAUSE I CAN!
Fun Fall Breaks to All

Just Some Philosophy...
Right this very minute...now or a week from now when you're reading this....
Someone is celebrating an insane amount of happiness,
Someone just suffered a tragedy.
Someone is being born,
Someone is dying.
Someone is blogging,
Someone is wishing that they could have a computer.
Someone is pigging out on Saturday night dinner,
Someone is starving.
Someone just went on an iTunes spree,
Someone barely paid their bills.
Someone is winning,
Someone is losing.
Right now,
Someone is being diagnosed with cancer,
Someone is a survivor.
Be aware...

Hope you enjoyed your food for thought...

UGH! SCHOOL!
Today--not a fun day!
Today is Friday, but obviously none of my teachers know it...'cept journalism.
Let's see...French-Quiz....Intro-news quiz...as always....Biology-Chapter 3 AND 4 test THAT I AM FAR FROM READY FOR!!!! and English-Vocab test AND Jane Eyre test over chapters 1-10...but I must say, it's a heck of a lot better than the invisible man!!
So yeah, I have probably double the requirement for blogging, but I enjoy blogging quite a bit :)
Time to study for biology...probably going to fail that one....... :(
OH YEAH! AND I have a test over verbals in English...anybody on the planet understand them? I sure don't! Gerunds, I'm sorry, but you are useless knowledge.
Ugh,

Just Really Felt Like Pointing this Out....
So, as I previously mentioned, I got a new computer that's freakin epic.
Because I got this new computer, I had to save all of my old essays and crap to flash drives.
Of course, I was re-reading everything and being all like "Man, I hated this essay!"
Then I found something really interesting.
So, last year my middle school decided to bring its usually-dormant newspaper back to life. I honestly think I put the most effort into it, so I volunteered for most of the articles, and ended up editing ones that said things like "tanning is a good thing." So I was going through all my stories.
MAN DID THEY SUCK!!!
I actually thought one of them was the best article I had ever written. Well...editorial....I like to be mean. I re-read it and was like "what the heck, this sucks."
So.....................................................................
Thanks VP :)
Now I don't suck as bad as I did before....maybe I'm even good now? :)
Ha ha...now I need to read Jane Eyre... :/

*READ PART ONE FIRST!!*
Jamie was standing in the presence of a beautiful plane. She hopped in and found her way through all four safety straps to get firmly in her seat. Once Peter made sure she was in securely, he grabbed the wing of the plane and pulled it out of the hangar and postioned it towards the runway. He hopped in and quickly threw his seatbelts on. He turned on the engine and gave Jamie some headphones so they could talk over the loud engine. Finally, when all was ready, they took off.
Within 10 seconds of take-off, Jamie could see the Sears Tower poking out of the Chicago skyline. That itself was amazing to her. They climbed and climbed threw the air. Eventually, Jamie was able to talk again.
"I can see my house from here," she said. Peter then took the plane towards Jamie's old middle school. She was amazed at then. Then, Jamie led Peter to her high school and took a picture of it from above. It was a big building. After a long silence, they reached the middle of nowhere.
"You want to steer?" Peter asked. Jamie was amazed.
"Sure!" She reached for the stick in front of her. "It's like a video game" she thought to herself. Peter explained the controls to her and off she went.
"Ok, how about you turn to face South. She turned around, but made it South west. They both laughed. After about 10 minutes of aimless aviation, Jamie told Peter he could take control again. He did, and saw the sun starting to set.
"I'm thinking it's time we headed back home," Peter said. Sad face for Jamie.
They landed back at the airport, Jamie asked Peter if the plane had a name.
"Like Betsie or something?"
"Yeah"
"No...you wanna name her?" he asked. Jamie was stunned.
"Cherry bomb!"
"Cherry bomb? I kinda like it....cherry bomb..." It was official. Cherry Bomb was now this plane's name. Jamie was excited to go flying again all because the named the plane...and flying was amazing.
"Yeah, flying can be an addicting habit...and an expensive one, too." Time to start on that pilot's license, though.
The rest of the night, Jamie had "Airplanes" by B.o.B. stuck in her head--the song of the week when she had been at Notre Dame.

My Anecdote! *Flying High*
Jamie was swimming happily at her friend, Katie's house. It was a failed attempt at a party to reunite people from their previous week at Notre Dame.
Suddenly, Jamie heard her phone ringing from her bag. She saw "Home" on the caller ID. It wasn't a shock, because her mom was one of those moms that always comes too early to pick her kid up from a party.
"Hey Mom"
"Jame, guess what!"
"What...?"
"Peter called again. He wants to know if you wanted to go with him today."
"Yeah! Why wouldn't I? Crap, I gotta tell Katie..."
"Just tell her what's going on and how you couldn't last week, so you are today. You've been there since 1 anyways."
"Alright. What time is he coming?"
"He wants to be there by 7. Get ready I'll come get you."
"Ok, bye."
Jamie back to the pool, and told Katie what was going on. She thought it was cool, and was fine with Jamie leaving. Her mom came and got her, and back home they went.
At about 7, Peter, Jamie's mom's cousin pulled in the driveway.
"Hey kid, you ready to go?"
"Oh yeah."
They pulled out of the driveway and took a short 15 minute ride. Finally, Jamie saw the airport. Peter drove to his hangar and opened the door. He did he pre-flight plane check while Jamie stood in awe of the beautiful, red and white two-seater airplane.

Hello World!
I'm in a rather chipper mood at the moment, despite the fact that I have to recite 26 lines from Romeo and Juliet in about 3 hours :( not fun.
I can't wait for Sunday...because I'm going to South Bend! Yessss!
Happy bowler :)
The rather unfortunate part, though, is that....it's not for Notre Dame :(, it's for bowling, my other love. <3
Ok, so....I have to follow other blogs now.
Peace out,
or something of the sort...

Happy Friday!
Happy Friday Visible People! (and any other invisible people who may read this)
Anyone else happy it's Friday? I know I am! Here's 2 of the many advantages of Friday:
I am currently listening to a song by The Script. They're an Irish band that I LOVE. And I just now realized that they're coming to an area near me within the next week or so. Darn. I wanted to see them. But the best Irish band of all time is U2, hands down. Anyone who disagrees can leave a comment, and I could probably come up with about 22 Grammy's worth of rebuttals that will prove you wrong. That just sounded journalistically (real word?) unethical, but mwaha ha, I'm not officially a "journalist" yet....so close yet so far :(
Oh yeah, I should probably clarify something. This blog is titled "The Bowler's Blog" and honestly, I was surprised when the URL wasn't already taken for someone who actually wants to blog about bowling. I love to bowl, but I don't blog about bowling. I am a bowler with a blog, so I figured I'd take the alliterative route and use that for a title. So for anyone who will read this who actually cares about bowling (I've come to find that a lot of people I've dealt with don't think bowling is a sport, even though the school's bowling teams are...well, I don't want to get in trouble, so I'll say that bowling is really good) sorry about the long obnoxious side note-anyone who cares about bowling can read a blog that has to do with bowling. So, every now and then I'll throw in something about bowling.
Ok, I've done enough controversial thinking for one night, so I'll just say Adieu
Adieu,
Over and out,

Anyone else happy it's Friday? I know I am! Here's 2 of the many advantages of Friday:
- It's the last day of the school week.
- It means I now have 4 days to read 5 chapters of The Invisible Man, an incredibly dull book. Sorry, Mr. Wells, your book is really well written, but honestly, it's not a book that will last a while longer. The book was written in the 1890's. It is now 2010. People's vocabularies just aren't so great anymore. Although, kudos to thinking of such a great concept for a book in the 1890's: invisibility. Better than vampires....but that's another topic for another day.
