I am SO sick of competition.
It's really starting to bring out the worst in not only my friends, but also me.
Competition is horrible.
End of story.
I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate it.
And yes, I typed each one of those out individually. No Copy/Paste.
Anyways.
Competition is really getting to me.
I just want to quit it all.
Quit school.
Quit bowling.
(I don't care who sees this) quit journalism.
Yes. Competition is getting to me that badly that I almost want to quit at it.
I just can't take it.
I really truly can not take any more competition.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not quitting journalism. I love journalism.
But competition makes it so much worse--it makes everything so much worse.
Competition makes me want to give up and not even try because I don't want to let myself down, which I tend to do.
But no. I will try. Because I...I....I'm going to try because I am going to try!
Because from day 1 of my bowling commitment, day 1 of preschool, and that very first day of my life when I realized that journalism was my thing, those days of commitments put me into a catch 22.
I can't quit any of these things because I'll regret it .
But I probably will still regret staying with them because of the stress brought with the competition.
I really have basically no solution that will fully benefit me.
But hey, that's what life is for, right? To let you realize that nothing goes right or as planned?
Yeah. I think that's it.
Loving journalism,
-bowler :)
