I DESERVE A T-SHIRT.
I SURVIVED IT
I SURVIVED THE BIOLOGY CORE 40 ECA.
My life is good.
Too bad I wasted my good life and gave up about 3 hours of sleep to do a study guide that was nearly irrelevant to the actual test :P
But you know what,
Thank god I survived/passed it.
Loving my new found end-of-semester confidence,

Here you will see an epic blog about the not-so-epic life that I live every. single. day.

1:17 AM
Yeah. It's past 1 AM.
Guess what I'm doing?
MY BIOLOGY CORE 40 REVIEW.
Guess when my Core 40 is.
9 HOURS FROM NOW.
I'm not even done with this God awful packet (sorry, that's just the only term that fits the description). It's over 50 pages and we have to finish all...I don't know...1000 questions on here?
I can't take it anymore.
My brain seriously cannot function at all.
And I'm only going to get 4 hours of sleep.
Cool.
So, I probably will either die or have a major panic attack tomorrow, so I don't know when I'll be blogging next.
I really, truly think that I am going to fail this.
I mean really, why am I responsible for doing 2 semesters' worth of reviewing in a WEEK, and then be expected to pass a test on it. OH. And there's about 50+ questions on the REVIEW with terms I literally have NEVER heard in my life! EVER!
That is not at all fair that I have to know this and if I miss it "you know, it's only one question"
Yeah. One plus one is two. One plus two is three. Eventually those numbers add up to failure.
But hey, I'm just a kid with a blog. What does my opinion matter?
Loving Geometry,

My first job
I officially now have a job!
I'm quite happy.
I work for the catering company that does everything at my church, and then some.
Tonight was my first night!
It was a wedding, and it was really cool.
The bride's dress was GORGEOUS, and so were the bridesmaids' dresses.
It was pretty cool. The DJ played really good music, so I at least had something good going while I was working.
BUT I'm not really sure when I'm getting paid.....
that's the problem with my job.
It's like, I only have to work when she needs me to and I don't always know when that will happen :/
So yeah, don't know when I'll ever see my $6 an hour...
Um....yeah that's about it.
Loving work,

Time to Rant
I am SO sick of competition.
It's really starting to bring out the worst in not only my friends, but also me.
Competition is horrible.
End of story.
I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate it.
And yes, I typed each one of those out individually. No Copy/Paste.
Anyways.
Competition is really getting to me.
I just want to quit it all.
Quit school.
Quit bowling.
(I don't care who sees this) quit journalism.
Yes. Competition is getting to me that badly that I almost want to quit at it.
I just can't take it.
I really truly can not take any more competition.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not quitting journalism. I love journalism.
But competition makes it so much worse--it makes everything so much worse.
Competition makes me want to give up and not even try because I don't want to let myself down, which I tend to do.
But no. I will try. Because I...I....I'm going to try because I am going to try!
Because from day 1 of my bowling commitment, day 1 of preschool, and that very first day of my life when I realized that journalism was my thing, those days of commitments put me into a catch 22.
I can't quit any of these things because I'll regret it .
But I probably will still regret staying with them because of the stress brought with the competition.
I really have basically no solution that will fully benefit me.
But hey, that's what life is for, right? To let you realize that nothing goes right or as planned?
Yeah. I think that's it.

Hello World
Ok, I know I have made that the title of a lot of posts, but whatever.
I don't really know what to blog about. I just feel the need to blog.
Oh hey, the Bulls are gonna play against the Heat. Didn't know that 'til now.
That's cool.
Anyways....
I guess since school has been on my mind a lot lately, how about some updates!
French: Harder this semester....but I think I got this...
Pool: Still need to make up my mile. Otherwise, not a hard class, just a pain with the swimmers' ear.
Biology: aiodhfau9sfjinothingmakessenseatallihatebiologywuhfijfufksjlfafkjfjhsfnfeifetkagta
English: reading The Catcher in the Rye now. It's a really good book so far. Too bad J.D. Salinger doesn't seem to realize that teenagers don't add (oh my god I'm going to swear on my school blog) "goddamn" in the front of every. single. (goddamn) word.
Geometry: Also easier this semester. And now I'm actually taking my time on my quizzes/tests!
World History: yawnnnnnnnnn. Oh, and it's called the Armenian Genocide...not massacre.
Intro: Final time.
Yeah. That's school.
Loving Doctor Who,

My little iTunes spree
Ok, so I just finished a little iTunes downloading spree.
Money spent: $0.
I just downloaded about 8 free courses with about 10-15 parts to each course. All from Notre Dame and Yale.
Once I have time to go through them, I will be happy.
Earlier today, though, I went out to ear with my grandma for her birthday.
It was quite nice, until I realized that I ate just a little too much and felt horrible.
But then on the way out, I saw my 8th grade gym teacher. It was also quite nice to see her, until I realized that I've probably gained about 10 pounds since I last saw her about 11 months ago.
Any other teacher, I wouldn't have cared...but a Physical Education teacher..... :P
And she was my health teacher in 7th grade, so I almost feel like I failed her.
OH MY GOD TIME FOR A MENTAL BREAKTHROUGH.
I know none of you want to know about it, and I know at least one of you (not naming names) will read it out loud to the class. So yeah,
Time to think....

Freshman Plays: Wrapped up for 2011
So tonight was the 2nd of 2 performances of the freshman shows :)
Tonight was just great.
It was so much fun to feel like I at least sort of belonged there.
My mom actually came for me :) It made me happy to actually see her there.
A lot of my friends that I haven't seen in a long time came, too. It was great.
Even my 6th grade science teacher was there! It was great to see her again
But it was sad, too.
For 2 of my 3 directors, it's their last LCTC production because they're graduating. It was so upsetting to see them both upset and a bunch of the people crying....I actually held myself together a little bit haha.
But I think I might cry because SOMEBODY didn't come. And that saddens me :(
But whatever....I'm still happy that I've had this experience....
I've loved it all.

Play tonight!!
So tonight, I shall be making my acting debut as the police officer in LC's freshman shows!
I'm excited.
I get to walk around all awesome and stuff and pretend to be a police officer...even though I look like a Nazi.....
So aside from that, I'm really happy with my grades.
I have 4 A's and 2 A-'s this quarter. I do have a B, but my teacher just needs to put in my 100% quiz and the test we just took, and I'll be up to probably an A-, or maybe an A!
That just makes me really proud of myself that I've been able to manage making the 4th quarter my best quarter this year.
AND OH MY GOD.
I GOT AN A- ON MY LAST BIOLOGY TEST.
NO IDEA HOW THAT HAPPENED.
So now I have an A in the class :)
Only problem: I am going to fail that Core 40...for sure...
Class of 2020 now? Probably.

Osama is dead.
Well United States,
Osama bin Laden is officially dead.
The U.S. has won their mission.
People are flooding the area around the White House chanting "USA"
People too far from the White House have been glued to their TV's since about 10 o'clock.
Barack Obama addressed the nation, so we all know it's true.
but wait...
The U.S. is not only in custody of his body, but we were the ones who killed the man.
We're in the United States, people.
When this man was still alive, knowing full well that people were after him, his al Qaeda followers still attempted and/or succeeded with attacks on america.
The mastermind is dead now.
But really, if they're training 12-year-olds in basic suicide bombing tactics and stuff like that, I'm willing to bet that his #2 guy knows quite a bit.
Plus, the United States killed him.
Do you really think that the people who destroyed the World Trade Centers after whatever event I'm not knowledgeable about aren't going to retaliate against the country that killed their leader??
Osama's death = good
The Aftermath = bad.
(I do have to say this) Loving the United States military,
