Super Bowl XLV

Well, Super Bowl 45 has a champion--the Green Bay Packers.

I suppose that I should do what all the famous bloggers do and analyze the game and what about 75% of viewers really watched for-the commercials.

Here's my top five commercials (in no particular order:
1)The Pepsi Max one with the dating couple.
2)The Volkswagon one with the Darth Vader kid
3)The House one with Dr. House and the kid
4)The Snickers one with Roseanne
5)The McDonald's one with the bears.

Maybe there were some better ones-but these were the most memorable, which I think is really important.
You can watch all of these and more at www.foxsports.com/ads

Now the half game show--great.
The Black Eyed Peas were brilliant. Slash and Usher's unexpected appearances were great.

Now the game itself:
Honestly, I didn't care too much about the outcome.
I had my reasons for wanting Green Bay to win and my reasons for wanting Pittsburgh.
But I found it slightly unfair that there was stil 49 seconds left after the turnover. Pittsburgh easily could have intercepted a pass and scored. If they had gotten the following field goal, they would've won.
I don't think it was necessary for the celebration to begin with almost a minute left. Yes, it was unlikely that Pittsburgh would come back, but it wasn't impossible. Because the lead was still within reach, they shouldn't have just ended it.

But what does my opinion matter?

Well, Glee is coming back momentarily, and my life will end if I miss a second of it. So I think it might be wise to leave now.

Loving Glee,
-bowler :)
