What's up!?!

Hello World!

So it feels like it's been months since I've written a blog post.
I've been too busy on Tumblr....shhhhhhhhhh.
Yeah, you can thank my friends for me and my Tumbling.

It's really sad because I've had a Tumblr since Thursday night and I think I have almost as many posts on there as I do on this blog that I've had since September.
But that's the power of re-blogging for you.

Well...it's time for me to continue reading Hiroshima... :(

Oh. But real quick...my friend pointed out something to me earlier today.
So the Berlin Wall. It was in Germany. How come all the graffiti on it is in English???

Toy Story...again :)

Well television sucks. There's nothing good on at 6:30 except for Wheel of Fortune...but Monsters Inc. was just ending. I didn't want to watch the last 20 minutes, because that's lame...
So I took a little trip to the movie shelf next to my fireplace. That's where all the VHS's are stashed. I started looking for something to watch.
I chose Toy Story 2.

I'm happy I did :)
I think Toy Story 2 is probably my favorite in the series now. I don't know why, but I just like it a lot.
This guy's my favorite :)  --
 WHEEZY!

Well, back to my weekend I go....

Not Notre Dame?!?

Well after yesterday's events, I decided to get a little...well...intensely journalism/Internet happy, so today I spent a good hour or two on various websites pertaining to journalism.
Well, just in case I'm not already confused enough about college...guess who discovered something that should be good but is just mentally painful!!
That would be me.
Yeah, so I always set my standards high for Notre Dame, Northwestern, something great like that. I always told myself that if I just went to a state school like IU or Purdue I'd be a failure.
Well guess who has an amazing journalism program!
Indiana Freaking University.
At least it's not Purdue........
But still...this sucks.
Indiana: great journalism school, not as expensive as Notre Dame
Notre Dame: MY DREAM and just pretty dang prestigious.

Thanks, world, for having too many options for college.

So Happy!!

My day was completely made in one conversation.
And I know the starters of this conversation will probably read this blog post eventually, if not tomorrow.
So thank you, certain people who can really run a conversation to make somebody's day. Thank you both so much.

Fan Fiction

So now I guess I'm turning into a YouTube channel and taking requests for posts?

My friend wanted me to post something about this, so I am.
So this friend reads Fan Fiction about Batman...AND NEVER SHUTS UP ABOUT IT!
Seriously, everytime I talk to her, she just rants and raves continuously about this fan fiction. It's pretty annoying.
I think she has an addiction. Just saying.

Well there you go, buddy, there's your post.

So Totally True....Everybody Should Know

Ok, so as most people probably already know, I really think schools should recognize their bowling teams, even though we aren't sanctioned.

I am a subscriber to the Post-Tribune. Recently, I started to realize that some of their stuff is a little bit biased at times.

But this article had to be shared.
It's not quite biased. But it sure is opinionated. And I'm a bit biased in supporting it....even if this guy is a little biased against our team...
But wait--this is a blog--so I can be biased!

Thank you, Mr. Gorches for getting your point across to the region in this article that this link will take you to!

I read it this morning and all I could say was "it's about time."

Loving getting held hostage by Quiver people during lunch............................ok that's just asking for problems--so don't legitly take me hostage!

Elmo :)

Well, I used to love Top Chef. But I stopped watching it a while ago. However, my mom still watches it.
In tonight's episode, the chefs are making cookies for Cookie Monster, some weird guy named Telly who wasn't around when I watched Sesame Street, and my favorite....
ELMO!!

Elmo was like, my best friend when I was you know....2. I had to watch Top Chef today...I just had to. Hearing Elmo's voice was just like..."Oh my gosh...I miss my childhood!"
I'm growing up too fast. Heck, I can tell myself that but my mom never says it. Ironic.
Really though, before I know I'm going to have to decide what the heck I'm going to do with college and the MONEY for college.
It just makes me wish I could go back to my childhood and watch Elmo all day.
I didn't worry about anything back then. . . . . . . . . . . jk maybe I did.
But still....I didn't worry about big things. I worried about little things. Childhood was fun. School didn't even get challenging until about 4th or 5th grade. Life was just...fun.
Well....now that I'm thinking about it...my childhood was slightly upsetting. I hadn't been to to the aquarium before this past summer...I've only been to the zoo maybe twice....I've never been to Disney World...I haven't seen a bunch of Disney movies.
See...back then I didn't worry about this stuff. But now I do.
Just hearing Elmo's voice on TV just brought back all those memories of child-like innocence.
Again I say....I'm getting way to philosophical tonight.....

Crap. Time to work on my "document-based" paper.

The New Shock of 2011

Today, I was converted.

I was brainwashed and am now a fan of Justin Bieber.
Who would of ever thought that that would happen.

My friends that hate him are ashamed of me.
My friend that loves him is so happy for me.

I just thought I'd update the blog world and announce that.
Never Say Never was good, too.
Well, I mean it must've been good if it converted me.

Loving....Justin Bieber,

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day Everybody!

But today will be fun.

I never thought I'd say this,
but in an hourish I'll be on my way to seeing
NEVER SAY NEVER
aka....
The Justin Bieber Movie

Oh yeah. Me + Justin Bieber....who'd of thought?
My friend is trying to convert me. So I'm giving him a chance.

Well....I have a lot of homework that I decided to put off. So I suppose I ought to leave.

What I Want.

My current movie obsession: What A Girl Wants.

That movie just makes me say "Ugh. Why does my life suck?"
That movie is like, the story of my life for the first 15 minutes....but then Daphne goes off to England to find her father, the Lord of somethingorother. That's where the comparison ends. But you know, there's still 2 more years before I can say that there's for sure no parallel. But who knows? Maybe one day.....I'll get what I want.
And tomorrow's just going to be a constant reminder of the parallel that's been set in stone. Hooray for me.

Just an update:
I am now addicted to popcorn.
I'm eating some right now.
And my mom is stealing it.
I might hit her soon.

Loving my popcorn,

Wait Who?

I absolutely LOVE Whose Line is it Anyway?

This show is awesome. It's all about the improv. I wish I could be as skilled at this as these guys are.

Yeah, not EVERYTHING they say is that funny. But really, everything they say that is funny is made up right there on the spot!

I mean, this is great:

It's just great.

Super Bowl XLV

Well, Super Bowl 45 has a champion--the Green Bay Packers.

I suppose that I should do what all the famous bloggers do and analyze the game and what about 75% of viewers really watched for-the commercials.

Here's my top five commercials (in no particular order:
1)The Pepsi Max one with the dating couple.
2)The Volkswagon one with the Darth Vader kid
3)The House one with Dr. House and the kid
4)The Snickers one with Roseanne
5)The McDonald's one with the bears.

Maybe there were some better ones-but these were the most memorable, which I think is really important.
You can watch all of these and more at www.foxsports.com/ads

Now the half game show--great.
The Black Eyed Peas were brilliant. Slash and Usher's unexpected appearances were great.

Now the game itself:
Honestly, I didn't care too much about the outcome.
I had my reasons for wanting Green Bay to win and my reasons for wanting Pittsburgh.
But I found it slightly unfair that there was stil 49 seconds left after the turnover. Pittsburgh easily could have intercepted a pass and scored. If they had gotten the following field goal, they would've won.
I don't think it was necessary for the celebration to begin with almost a minute left. Yes, it was unlikely that Pittsburgh would come back, but it wasn't impossible. Because the lead was still within reach, they shouldn't have just ended it.

But what does my opinion matter?

Well, Glee is coming back momentarily, and my life will end if I miss a second of it. So I think it might be wise to leave now.

Loving Glee,

To Attend or Not to Attend

Well, I have quite a dilemma.

I have a family funeral on Tuesday. I can go if I want, but I don't have to if I don't want to.

But Tuesday's a white day. I have 2 Geometry quizzes and INTRO that day! I can't miss intro!

But it's a family thing. It's worth missing because I only see these people like once a year, maybe.

But I like to keep my attendance as perfect as possible.

But it's one of the only valid excuses for missing school.

But I don't want to miss intro :(

I need a solution!!!

Loving when I witness 300 games,

Snowmageddon 2K11 Part 6

Well there wasn't school today.
My friend came over and we started to watch The Day After Tomorrow--you know, big world-changing blizzard there, big school-changing blizzard here.

Tomorrow there won't be school...again.
I'm impressed. I've never had three snow days in a row.
That's pretty awesome.

I'm super-pumped because I missed having pool today, and tomorrow I don't have to take my geometry quizzes! Yessssss!

Well, I suppose I should get to the homework that was due yesterday...

Loving winter,

Snowmageddon 2K11 Part 5

My driveway has been shoveled.
The lake-effect stopped, so I went outside.
Actually, my amazing neighbor came with her snowblower and it was great.

I really wish I were still 10 and could go play in this snow with dignity. I mean there's like 2-5 feet in my backyard. I know that's a wide range, but that's what the wind does to ya.

I'll post more pics later.
And hopefully later a happy phone call will go through telling me that I can sleep till 10 tomorrow.

Ok, now that I got that out......

I went outside to explore/shovel. It's insane.
And it's still snowing.
I'm literally trapped inside my house. It took me 10 minutes to make a path down my driveway. And there's still about 3-5 inches that I didn't get up.
The wind is still blowing and the snow is still falling.
I just looked outside--can you say white out?
Honestly, I don't think school is a possibility tomorrow.

Here's some pictures from before the white out of today started:

Snowmageddon 2K11 Part 3

It. Is. Cold.

Raise your hand if you're an idiot----
*Raises hand*

Yeah, me being the idiot that I am, I decided to try and shovel the 2 foot drift in my driveway before it gets to 4 feet.

I walked out of the garage and was about to cry. I almost lost my shovel.
I was shoveling away from the wind, and it wasn't THAT bad.
Then I turned around, facing east....the wind was going west...it was painful.
I ran like an idiot back into the garage and waited for the giant wind gust to stop, then I went and shoveled the front porch.
I did an experiment. I just gently tossed a shovel full of snow to the side of me. It went like 10 feet to the side, and then some.

So at 3 posts, all of you are probably like "Why do you keep posting!??!"
Well, after reading this book called Life as We Knew It, I think documenting all of this isn't such a bad idea. You know, just in case this is legitly Armageddon.

For now,

Snowmageddon 2K11 Part 2

School is cancelled for tomorrow!!
Besides the fact that I won't have intro, I'm pretty happy.
Now if the could call off Thursday...that'd be great.

But now for some legit updates...
I can't see the sled hill across the street behind my neighbor's house...but I know there's people there.

I never shoveled snow...my grandma told me I'm not allowed to (even though she doesn't live here.

Every time the wind kicks up, it sounds like a 500 pound man is hurling himself into the side of my house.

It's fun.

Snowmageddon 2K11

Oh yes my friends, it's here.

Snowmageddon hath arrived, and arrived fiercely.
School was released early. Walking to the bus was more painful than my swimming test today. It was like shards of glass pounding my face. And quite frankly, it's a bit chilly.

Let's see if there's a delay/cancellation tomorrow...if not...then something is severely wrong.
